like E07


Today 10/4/05 on 8020 kHz AM.
18:09 a carrier came up starting at S8 and rising to 20db over 9.
At 18:15 a high pitched tone started.
18:17 tone stopped and "690" was called once.
18:20 some noises sounding like a loose wire in a microphone.
Nothing more until 18:30 when E06 started up.
Calling 690, 690, 690 then 00000.
This lasted until 18:34, carrier stayed up until 18:35.
Possible bearing from my QTH here in West Sussex of 56'.
The 00000 means its a null message.

Now waiting for the 19:30 TX on 6790 kHz

Today 10/4/05 on 6970 kHz USB.

Very bad QRN from Galei Zahal in Israel on 6973 kHz AM broadcast station!

Tone came up at 19:18, dropped at 19:20 and 25 seconds and "690" was called
once.
At 19:30 E06 started with the same TX as the 18:30 one.
QRN was so bad I stopped monitoring!

The sound clip is mainly from the 18;30 TX, its been time compressed to keep
the file size down.
You hear the tone start, then 690 being called then the noises at 18:20
followed by a sample of the main message at 18:30.
This is followed by the tone ending and 690 being called on 6970khz and the bad
QRN from the out of band broadcast station.
