(Notching is a means of preventing the power line adaptors from using ranges of frequencies as is currently the case on some of the amateur allocations)

There are also a number of spot frequencies carrying weather and navigation broadcasts that would need protecting from this harmful interference! If these are not known they can be provided on request.

Clearly UKQRM understands that all these notches would mean that the data speed would be greatly reduced! But then the Shortwave/HF spectrum is not unused so using this allocation was always going to lead to conflict!

There are many ways to set up a wireless network for data and streaming video maybe these options are they way forward?
